I had the very wonderful opportunity to photograph this Monday Evening event for the Mercatus Center in Arlington, Virginia for their series, Conversations with Tyler. The guest in conversation with host Tyler Cowan was Malcolm Gladwell, best selling author, including "The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference,” and "David and Goliath". For more details on this very interesting conversation with Malcolm Gladwell, see George Mason University News
This session was my first of 2017, on the afternoon of January 1. No better way to kick off my work in the new year. These images are the perfect example of why I love what I do. A walk through this historic park on a bright winter day with these four. Thank you, Voigts, for trusting me to capture these photographs of you.
Enjoy this series of photographs of this very special family. We met as the sun was just breaking over the horizon at the Lincoln Memorial. We were practically alone at the site for a good bit of the time, all of us basking in the beauty and rising sun, relishing the fact that we live here. It all came together: the weather, the sun, the agreeable pups, the gleaming marble, for the most amazing early morning session of this beautiful family. Thank you, Cubbas, for, giving me this wonderful pleasure of capturing your family.
I've been scheduling for my next round of Senior Portraits as Spring approaches. I was so delighted we had a sunny day, and that Andy agreed to having his Ford truck in some photographs before the sun went down.
Photographs of Family | The Goldsmith family allowed me the wonderful privilege of capturing their family photographs as they gathered together for the holidays. After photographing the guys on the sidelines through several seasons of varsity football, this opportunity to work with their entire family on this session was so fabulous.
Oh my goodness, yes! Of course we could not have made these photographs of the Jackson family without including their well loved dogs. We walked the trails of the Accotink Park in Northern Virginia to capture their family on these very trails they walked regularly when their kids were young. A Saturday morning of this beautiful family, documented here.
Delighted to share these of this beautiful family from fall, 2016.
Senior Portraits 2017 | I had the privilege of photographing Jacob the quarterback of the Warhawk football team on the field throughout the season. And then had the pleasure and privilege of capturing these Senior portraits for him. This session could not have been more perfect. Really, just perfect from beginning to end. These are some of my favorites These photographsare going to print now and I can't wait to see the finished project. Congratulations, Jacob, on all of your accomplishments and best of luck in all the exciting ventures ahead. Enjoy.
