I had a few family sessions scheduled during the hot month of August in Northern Virginia. Thankfully, this particular day, although hot, wasn't the worst of these balmy days. And despite the heat, we had a wonderful time and we captured in these photographs exactly what I had hoped for. This lovely historic park, Fort C.F. Smith Park, was the perfect place for our walk along the paths with Asha, their German Shephard. Asha was completely cooperative and I think maybe she even felt she was the center of the show. Clearly, she is completely confident in her family's love. And yes, they are such a wonderful family. I'm so grateful they allowed me the awesome privilege of capturing their family in photographs.
